Other Museums and Landmarks
Wren Building belongs to the College of William and Mary campus, and it is the oldest academic building in the U.S. that is still in use. On the other side of the campus is the Crim Dell wooden bridge, that offers a scenic view of a pond and the forest around it. It is considered to be a very romantic spot.
The Muscarelle Museum of Art is also affiliated with the college. It has a vast permanent collection of works, including an exhibition dedicated to the 100 Years of Women celebration. Among other art museums is the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art, DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museums, as well as the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg. The latter showcases contemporary folk and Colonial-era art pieces along with antiques.
And if you are up for some ordinary fun, there is a huge theme park just outside of the city, called the Busch Garden, with rides and roller coasters.
